Rachel joined the office of Career Services and Co-op Education Center at UMass Lowell in the fall of 2014. She has worked in both education and corporate environments. Her career services experience encompasses her role as Co-op Coordinator at Wentworth Institute of Technology where she worked with over 300 hundred students and 100+ employers to arrange and secure required, academically integrated co-op experiences for Architecture and Engineering students. In addition to her career services experience in higher education, she has worked as a corporate recruiter and currently manages her own career consulting practice. She has also served as the Coordinator for Service-Learning at Middlesex Community College where she maintained experiential learning partnerships in the community and managed over 200 students. Prior to coming to UMass Lowell she was a Program Manager at the MIT Sloan School of Management for Executive Education, and has also worked at Phillips Andover where she assisted the Dean of Students in disciplinary and housing affairs.

Areas of Expertise and Professional Interests

Rachel is experienced in career counseling and coaching, particularly in the area of experiential learning. Her work includes teaching professional development, counseling and coaching students, and employment outreach. Her passion is helping students to utilize cooperative education as a foundation for a successful career path and to teach them the skills necessary to become a successful professional in their field of study.
