Prior to her current role at UMass Lowell, Kerry worked with the university’s Professional Co-op Program for four years. In this capacity, she oversaw all aspects of the program for business students, including developing and maintaining employer relationships, preparing students to seek co-op opportunities, and assisting students in reflecting on the co-op work experience as it relates to career aspirations. Kerry has held prior positions in career development at a private liberal arts college and a small college that focused on aviation and engineering. In addition, Kerry has worked as a dean of students and director of residence life, and, briefly served in training and human resources roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
Areas of Expertise and Professional Interests
Kerry’s passion is ensuring that students have opportunities to engage in the career development process and develop lifelong skills to navigate their future career pathways. She believes in obtaining hands-on experience and building towards one’s career aspirations throughout the entire university experience. Kerry specializes in employer outreach, campus partnerships, and providing direct support to students and alumni.
