Priscilla has worked in Career Services at UMass Lowell since 2005.  Before UMass Lowell, she was Senior Internship Coordinator at Endicott College in Beverly where she worked with hundreds of students and employers to arrange and secure required, academically integrated internship experiences.  Prior to that, she was Assistant Director of Internships at the University of New Hampshire.   She has also served as an Academic Advisor for 200+ undeclared first-year students at Ohio State University and taught a first-year seminar for students exploring majors.  Having been an undergraduate English major, Priscilla's previous career was in corporate communications, public relations, and marketing.  She served as Director of Communications for United HealthCare of Ohio, Employee Communications Manager for ChemLawn Corporation, and Public Relations Director of Guernsey Memorial Hospital, all in her home state of Ohio.  

Areas of Expertise and Professional Interests

Priscilla is experienced in career counseling and programming, particularly in the higher education arena.  Her work includes individual counseling and coaching; developing, implementing, and managing career-related programs, workshops, and presentations; helping individuals clarify their interests, skills, and values, and explore related career paths; program assessment; and operations and communications management.  Her passion is helping individuals discover and progress along their career path, as well as helping them recognize, articulate, and actively market their value to employers.
