Schedule of events

UMass Lowell is thrilled to host the 2021-2022 academic year Sustainability Student Leaders Symposium. Students from the Northeast will congregate for a half-day conference featuring student presentations, engagement workshops, networking opportunities, roundtable discussions, and a sustainability site tour.

The theme for the Symposium is centered around the importance of partnerships and collaboration in sustainability. The peer-to-peer environment will allow students to explore previous sustainability projects and identify future project implementation that will leave a lasting legacy throughout their own campus communities.

COVID-19 Protocol: Please note that the Sustainability Student Leaders Symposium (SSLS) will be offering a hybrid format. Attendees will have the option to join the conference in-person or remote. UMass Lowell is currently monitoring and following Massachusetts state guidelines. Any updates will be included on any email announcements and published on the hosted website.
