Saturday, April 23

Coalition for a Better Acre Annual Cleanup
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Teams of 2-15 people are invited to sign up: Annual CBA Clean - Up: Saturday, April 23, 2022 registration. Each will decide where and when to clean up. That's right, your clean-up crew can choose any spot around Lowell that needs a little extra care for our socially-distanced clean-up. We hope to see teams representing all of Lowell's neighborhoods!

During the spring of 2022, we’re expecting the return of river herring. We need you to help us count the fish, both at the Centennial Island fish ladder and through video monitoring. Volunteer now for Fish Monitoring Volunteer Training.

Points of Light Lantern Festival
Coalition for a Better Acre

Points of Light is a spring celebration of unity and renewal that brings together the food, music, and traditions of Lowell’s diverse cultures. The centerpiece of the night is a special ceremony in which participants personalize water lanterns that will be released onto the Western Canal, creating hundreds of floating points of light.

Eco-Film series ‘2040’ virtual watch party
6:30-8:30 p.m.
