Climate Change is a major issue today, and we at UMass Lowell are working to minimize our impact on it. High levels of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are a major factor in climate change, and thus we are working to reduce our emissions as quickly as possible.
In addition to the more broad-scale issue of climate change, reducing the amount of airborne pollutants on campus also improves the outdoor air quality for ecosystems and human health!
