Campus Advocates for Prevention Education (CAPE) is a group of students who provide peers with education and awareness around sexual violence and mental health.
Members of CAPE work together to turn information about bystander intervention, sexual violence prevention, and suicide prevention into engaging and relatable activities that are provided at a variety of events. Our most notable events include Sexapalooza, Fresh Check Day, Stress Relief Fair, Take Back the Night, and Walk a Mile. Along with events, we also work to educate our peers in the classroom through targeted presentations.
Our goal is to create conversation, provide information and awareness, create a supportive environment, and encourage positive mental health. CAPE is currently recruiting students with a passion for peer education and advocacy to join the team.
