Greetings UMass Lowell Community,

As we continue through the start of the fall semester, we are excited to introduce the Office of Student & Family Support Services (OSFSS) as a new department within the division of academic and student affairs. The Office of Student & Family Support Services oversees several critical areas of support for both students and parents/families. This includes the UML Food Pantry, resources for students dealing with housing and food insecurity, and campus outreach and education. The Office of Student & Family Support Services also oversees Family Programs, which includes family orientation, family communication and outreach, programs for parents and families, and the River Hawk Family Association.

If you have any questions or would like to refer students or families to any of our services, please feel free to reach out to any of the Student & Family Support Service staff or visit our web pages:

The director of the OSFSS is Marshall Greenleaf (Marshall_Greenleaf@uml.edu) and the assistant director is Rich Doria (Rich_Doria@uml.edu).

Thank you, and we hope all are having a good fall semester.
