UMass Lowell Traveling Seminars

  • Description: All Traveling Seminars are fully accredited UMass Lowell courses and are instructed by UMass Lowell professors in various global settings through our partnerships with international universities and organizations. Whether that be through workshops or conferences participated in abroad, museums or company site visits, observation and interviews within a community or collaborative projects with students enrolled at an international partner university, students expand their knowledge of the field of study through a comparative lens.  A skill which will enable them be more competitive in their future fields of employment.

Student Experiences:

"Traveling has given me a perspective that I wouldn't have otherwise had. The more I learn about different regions, the more I start to see patterns with the way that things work, especially with peace building."
