International research opportunities combine a study abroad experience with the opportunity to join a research team and participate in an ongoing investigation at various sites around the globe. Students gain hands on research experience in a project of their choice within their field of study, under direct supervision of professors and other academic staff. In some programs, students can document their research in a paper of publishable quality.
