Summer 2013
  • Dr. Frank Talty gave a presentation on Institutional Relationships between Ireland and American Universities during the Donegal Diaspora Conference held at Letterkenny Institute of Technology on June 4-5, 2013.  He also participated in a panel on Irish immigration issues in the United States. Other panelist included Massachusetts State Representative and chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Eugene O'Flaherty; Michael Patrick McDonald, award-winning author of Easter Rising and All Souls; Boston Globe Pulitzer prize-winning columnist, and Whitey Bulger author, Kevin Cullen and Sister Lena Deevey, outgoing director of the Boston Irish Immigration Center.
