To develop research skills and encourage creativity. Faculty mentors guide students as they complete an Honors Fellowship and ultimately their Honors Project or Honors Thesis.

To inspire and prepare students to earn an advanced degree in their chosen field of study. Students gain increased confidence when they create, document, and present their Honors Project or Honors Thesis. Students need to know that they one day can earn a master's or a doctoral degree themselves.
