When does River Hawk Homecoming take place?
Homecoming begins Thursday, Oct. 12 with the Rise Up: Celebration of Sport and ends Sunday, Oct. 15. A majority of the events take place on Saturday, Oct. 14, including the Hawkey Way Pre-Game Festival followed by the hockey game against the University of Nebraska Omaha.
How do I register for River Hawk Homecoming events?
If events require an RSVP, you can register (or find info. on registering) using the Homecoming online registration form. Events not on the form, including the Hawkey Way Pre-Game Festival, are free and you can register upon arrival. What is the Hawkey Way Pre-Game Festival?
Hawkey Way is one of the premier Homecoming events, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 3-6 p.m. adjacent to the Tsongas Center. The festival takes place prior to the hockey game that night. Admission is free and the event features music, entertainment, lots of great food and drink options and family-friendly activities. Attendees don’t need to register ahead of time.

Homecoming is for everyone! Family and friends of all UMass Lowell students, alumni, and faculty and staff are invited!
How do I know if it’s my reunion year?
Classes with graduation years ending in 2 or 7 are celebrating reunions this year.
Where do I pick up my hockey tickets?
On Friday, Oct. 13, you can pick up your tickets at the Tsongas Center Lobby beginning at 5 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 14, you can pick up your tickets between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the registration tent located outside of the Tsongas Center, to the left of the building. After 6 p.m. you can pick up your tickets in the Tsongas Center lobby.
I registered for Jennifer’s Run/Walk, and now I want my voucher for Jennifer’s Run/Walk. What do I do?
You don’t need to do anything. Your voucher number is just confirmation to us that you are registered. Shortly after you purchase, a university representative may contact you for additional information (i.e. age, gender) for each participant you registered.
Are there overnight accommodations available nearby?
The UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center, 50 Warren Str., Lowell has provided a rate for guest rooms starting on Thursday, Oct. 12 for $119 per night. Rooms are limited. Register now by calling the hotel at 978-934-6920 on or before Sept. 28 to take advantage of the special $119 room rate.

Are pets or service animals allowed?
Pets are not allowed. Service animals are.
Where will events be in case of rain?
All events are rain or shine.
Where can I park?
On Saturday, Oct. 14, the city’s George A. Ayotte Parking Facility, located adjacent to the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, will offer a $5 event parking rate until 3:30 p.m. After 3:30 p.m., the rate will increase to $10 for those arriving for evening activities. Visit uml.edu/maps/

What happens if I can’t attend the event?
