During this breakout session, incoming RHSA students will meet their First-Year Experience Pod for the first time, including their Faculty Advocate and Peer Leader. Students will have the opportunity to connect with other first-generation students in their college, learn more about RHSA support and expectations, ask questions about transitioning to UML, and begin building their support network before the start of the semester. Activities and discussions will focus on community-building, connection, and helping students feel prepared and supported as they begin their first year at UMass Lowell.
