Alan Williams is promoting his new release, Floating on the Dreamline, with what may prove to be his final performance at UML. Alan’s core band consists of his longtime musical partners Ben Wittman (Sting, Paul Simon, Laila Biali) and Greg Porter (Aimee Mann), along with alumnus Matt Swanton and two current students, Joshua McDonough and Jason Roberts. There will be guest appearances by current UML faculty John Shirley and Sovann Khon, as well as recent alumni Julia James and Chris Gardino. The concert will draw on material from over 35 years of songwriting, with a focus on songs from the new album.
