The UMass Lowell Concert Band, Conducted by Debra-Nicole Huber, brings together students from all colleges at UML. The ensemble performs a wide array of contemporary and traditional works for Concert Band. Our concert’s journey will feature Watchman Tell Us of the Night by Mark Camphouse and At Dawn They Slept by Jay Bocook, each composed in tribute to survivors. Julie Giroux’s beautiful arrangement of the patriotic hymn Jerusalem raises our spirits, and Rossano Galante’s lush composition Redemption captures the euphoria experienced when saved from an emotional crisis. In contrast, a light Marches of de Parachutistes Belges by Pierre Leemans and the playful Scaramouche by Francis McBeth complete our program.
The concert is free and open to the public.
