The University Orchestra presents two 19th century masterworks, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol and Franz Schubert’s iconic “Unfinished” Symphony, alongside contemporary composer Elaine Hagenberg’s work for chorus (with The Common Voices, University Choir, and Chamber Singers) and orchestra Illuminare. Come to hear the fantastic work of this community as we showcase virtuosic solos, intricate ensemble work, and soaring melodies in this evening of extraordinary music. Admission is free and open to the public in UMass Lowell’s Moloney Performing Arts Center.
