"Altin Günü" (golden day) is a traditional gathering in Turkiye that friends come together in rotation at each one's place and eat, drink, talk and dance. We would like to bring this cozy tradition to UMass Lowell where we will serve meze (Mediterranean appetizers), traditional desert (baklava, fistikli sarma) and beverages (tea, coffee and ayran -yogurt drink-) along with Turkish music from 60s-00s.
