Photographer Dorinth Doherty will speak about her collaborative, research-based practice that confronts that impacts of climate change on biodiversity. She will focus on her ongoing series Archiving Eden that documents the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in the Arctic Circle.
Doherty is the author of the book Archiving Eden, and a 2012 Guggenheim Foundation fellow. She is Distinguished Research Professor at the University of North Texas.
The event will be on April 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and will be held in O'Leary Library Room 222. The even will be free and open to the public.
