The Mathematics Educator Speaker Series seeks to bring local mathematics educators together to share their expertise on essential mathematics education issues for K-12 and beyond. The speaker series is open to all, with a special invitation to local researchers and teachers, as well as UMass Lowell graduate and undergraduate students interested in teaching mathematics.
Dr. Christine von Renesse will come on Friday, Dec. 1, to guide participants through a mathematics experience and to reflect on the basic elements of a thinking classroom.
