Women working full-time in the United States typically are paid just 80 percent of what men are paid, a gap of 20 percent – and it’s even wider for black women, Latinas, and Native women. Attend this salary negotiation workshop to learn how to negotiate your salary and benefits packages confidently and successfully. Unless things change, the gender pay gap will not close until 2106. Developed by AAUW, this workshop will be left by a trained facilitator from the Career & Co-op Center. Space is limited and registration is required via Handshake by March 25 or when spaces fill, whichever is sooner. All registrants will be provided with a list of materials to bring to the event.
