University Orchestra Concert

The University Orchestra, 35 piece string, wind, brass and percussion ensemble, is comprised of some of the finest musicians at the University. On Tuesday, April 26 at 8:00 PM in Durgin Hall the Orchestra will perform a variety of works, including the Schubert Mass in G (with the University Choirs) and Dvorak’s Symphony no. 8. There will be two world premieres of works by student composers: Peter Robinson and Caitlin Leach. Also featured will be the winners of this year’s Concerto Competition, soprano Jordyn Jones, singing Puccini, and Charles Moncousky, playing Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. Mark Latham conducts.
