The Wind Ensemble, a 40 piece brass, woodwind and percussion ensemble, is comprised of some of the finest musicians at the University. The Wind Ensemble will be performing in concert on Thursday, April 27, at 8:00 p.m. in Durgin Concert Hall. The concert will feature Dutch composer Johan de Meij’s Symphony I The Lord of the Rings inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien classic, Morten Lauridsen beautiful O Magnum Mysterium, and Leonard Bernstein’s exuberant Overture to "Candide". Dan Lutz conducts.
