Catholic Student Union Bible Study

The Bible is the very foundation or doctrine of our faith. One can say that the Catholic traditions derive straight from this holy book; this is why Bible study is import for individuals who are willing to continuously learn about the Catholic faith.

This semester we will be focusing on 1st Corinthians, a chapter from the New testament. This topic is incredibly relevant to our culture today because enables us to look at the early Christians and reflex on our own lives.

The main questions that will discussed: What does it mean to live in the world but not of it?

Topics covered:
- Vocations,
- The influence of the media,
- The Church’s teaching on contraception,
- The pursuit of holiness,
- Developing the zeal to evangelize, and
- Discerning our spiritual gifts.
