Ecofantasy as Indigenous Erasure: Conservation and Tourism in Adivasi India with Pinky Hota

The first of the 2022-2023 Scholar for Peace Studies speaker series honoring Indigenous people’s struggles and resistance across the world, Prof. Pinky Hota will speak on "Ecofantasy as Indigenous Erasure: Conservation and Tourism in Adivasi India." Pinky Hota is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Smith College.  Her first book entitled "The Violence of Recognition: Adivasi Indigeneity and Anti-Dalitness in India" is forthcoming in 2023 with University of Pennsylvania Press.
