This exhibition, titled “In Common” is based on the words “The earth is what we all have in common.” This quote comes from the Wendell Berry book, “The Unsettling of America.” So much of what we learn about environmentalism centers around things we shouldn’t do:
• Don’t use so much plastic,
• Don’t pollute,
• Don’t cut down trees, etc.
What we often miss are ways we should interact with nature. This exhibition highlights some of these “shoulds”.
