Brian Lee is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Department of Supply Chain & Information Systems, Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University. Brian is broadly interested in the design and usage of information systems (IS) for the issues related to the future of work. Particularly, he studies platform designs for the gig-economy such as crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, and the wisdom of the crowd. His work has appeared in Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, and Decision Support Systems. Brian obtained his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations and Information Management at the University of Connecticut.
