The Wind Ensemble, comprised of some of the finest musicians at the University, performs a concert featuring David Gillingham’s poignant tone poem “Heroes Lost and Fallen (A Vietnam Memorial),” “Scenes from the Louvre by Norman Dello Joio,” the sound track to the documentary on one the world’s most famous museums, and Ron Nelson’s musically visual “Savannah River Holiday” representing the power and serenity of the Savannah River.
