7. Access Ally Training

Access Ally Training is geared towards faculty and staff that want to broaden their skills and knowledge base to best respond to the needs of those in our campus community with sensory, neurological, learning and physical differences. In connecting with students, technology can either be a barrier or a bridge. Learn how to use technology in a way that will enable students to fully participate in what you are offering. This includes creating accessible documents/materials, creating accessible websites, and auditing technology for accessibility. The goals for this workshop include: (1) How to use universal design to create an Inclusive environment; (2) Technology usage to provide access and remove barriers (3) Understanding the strengths of different learners and improving outcomes for everyone.
