6. Unconscious Attitudes/Implicit Bias Training

Sometimes ideas, beliefs, and assumptions are so ingrained in our unconscious mind that we don’t realize how they might be influencing our daily interactions and decisions. These assumptions can influence how we perceive people and groups, and can often be a barrier to creating an inclusive and diverse environment. In this workshop participants will learn how our brain internalizes messages on an unconscious level and how these messages can show up in our work and in our interactions. Participants will also develop strategies to reduce and eliminate implicit bias.
