Come cheer on our UMass Lowell DifferenceMaker student teams at the 2019 Annual $50,000 Idea Challenge Finals. The field has been narrowed down from many competitive applications to just 10 DifferenceMaker teams who will pitch their ventures to a panel of alumni judges. The evening will begin with poster presentations by the finalist teams, as well as student teams who participated in the Preliminary Pitch-off. The finalist teams will then present a series of 5-minute rocket pitches to the panel of alumni judges. Lastly, the judges will deliberate and give away the $50,000 in prize money and services to the 10 teams. This event is for students, alumni, faculty, staff, community members and entrepreneurs.
