Policies and Guidelines

All standard freewheeler policies and guidelines apply to mountain bike rentals. Mountain bikes are due by 7pm the day after they are rented. Mountain bike rentals must be paid with a credit card. We recommend bikes are kept overnight that they are stored indoors to protect from weather damage and theft. UMass Lowell students, faculty and staff must have an active freewheelers account. Non-university renters must fill out our online waiver, pass the freewheelers safety quiz and complete the freewheelers registration prior to renting a mountain bike.
