COVID-19 Student Emergency Grant Program – Apply Now

By Joseph Hartman

We recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid transition to remote campus operations has created extremely challenging financial circumstances for students.
The university has now received emergency grant aid from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund established by the recently enacted Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The purpose of these funds is to provide emergency grants to students for expenses directly incurred as a result of the disruption of campus operations and the transition to remote learning, including food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and childcare.
Students are invited to apply for the CARES Act Student Emergency Grant. You may also review the CARES Act Grant webpage for eligibility requirements. The application deadline is Friday, June 5, 2020.
The university will prioritize students with the greatest need, while striving to distribute funds to as many students as possible. If you are awarded funding, you will be notified via email and receive funding via direct deposit or check. Please note, if you currently have an outstanding balance with the university, the grant will not be applied towards these charges.
