The mission of the ADVANCE Office for Faculty Equity is to promote an equitable, inclusive, and empowering environment in which all faculty receive support, resources, and opportunities in order to thrive at UMass Lowell (UML).

The ADVANCE Office for Faculty Equity builds upon the successes of the UMass Lowell Center for Women & Work (CWW)’s Making WAVES initiative, as well as new efforts identified by the University-wide Sexual Harassment Task Force and the Social Justice and Inclusion Task Forces.
