The Clean Green Challenge is the UMass Lowell Innovation Hub's biggest annual program! Started in 2022, this global competition is dedicated to bringing the best sustainability-related technologies and solutions from around the world to the front and center.     Come cheer on our UMass Lowell DifferenceMaker student teams at the 2024 12th Annual $50,000 Idea Challenge Finals. Refreshments will be served. The field has been narrowed from 60 competitive applications to just 10 DifferenceMaker teams who will pitch their ventures to a panel of alumni judges who will then award $50,000 in prize money to the teams. The evening will begin with poster presentations from 5 to 6 p.m. by the finalist teams, as well as student teams who participated in the Preliminary Pitch-Off. The finalist teams will then present a series of 5-minute rocket pitches to a panel of alumni judges for a chance to share in $50,000 in prizes and services.
