Walking. Cycling. Carpooling. Transit.

UMass Lowell Transportation Services is committed to helping students and employees commute to and between university campuses in ways which are environmentally friendly, healthy, and economical through providing programs, services, events, and education about walking, bicycling, carpooling, and public transit.

Roadster Routes Day Shuttle and Evening & Weekend Shuttle
The Office of Transportation Services designs its routes to efficiently transport students, staff, faculty and university community members between campus locations. View the Roadster Routes app or download it on your phone from the Apple iTunes store.

When you share the ride with a friend, you'll have more time to converse, study, or even get some extra sleep. In addition, you'll be saving money, parking closer to campus than anyone else, and doing something good for the environment.

Public Transit
This information is about the public transit agencies in the area which are not affiliated with the university.

If you want to travel to and between UMass Lowell campuses in a way that's fun, healthy, and fast, you should do it on two wheels! UMass Lowell's own Free Wheelers program can help. Download a bicycling map (pdf).

Zipcar is an on-campus, on-demand car rental service that lets you use cars when you need them by the hour or by the day, with the price of gas and insurance included.
