Student Sustainability Coordinator
Alyssa Aurilio is a senior Graphic Design major with an interest in advertisement and marketing. Outside of classes, she is also a Student Alumni Ambassador, Campus Advocate, and a sister of Alpha Omega. She enjoys reading and swimming in her free time. As someone involved deeply in the university, she is working on ways to promote more sustainable living on campus, and inform students and staff of how they can make a better impact on the world.
Move Out Coordinator
Andre Ragel is a sophomore Business Management major with a minor in Public Health. In his first year in the Office of Sustainability, he led the Sustainable Residence Hall Move-Out program, in which 16,500 pounds of material from students were donated to local non-profits. His hobbies include swimming, chess and drinking iced coffee. In his free time, Andre is traveling around the world, accomplishing his mission of visiting all 50 states.

Erin McGuire is a sophomore double major in Environmental Geoscience and International Relations. She enjoys hiking, eating farm fresh food, and photography. Erin is thrilled to be working in the Office of Sustainability, where she can help get students, faculty, and staff more involved in making UMass Lowell a better place! Keep your eyes open for events and initiatives to engage in throughout the year. But don't wait for her to start helping the environment - create some good habits like shutting off your lights or investing in a reusable water bottle!

Rachel Adragna is a senior double major in Biology and Psychology. Outside of school, Rachel enjoys playing Frisbee and walking outside. She currently works at the Butterfly Garden at the Museum of Science in Boston, helping the community discover the wonders and importance of butterflies and other insects. With the help of the Office of Sustainability, Rachel hopes to contribute to healing the planet through the reduction of harmful waste production.

Sean Cloran is a senior Biology major, minoring in Climate Change and Sustainability. He hopes to enter into a career in either sustainability or ecological restoration, and in his free time enjoys reading, adventuring, and gardening. Sofia is majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Business Administration. Hailing from Venezuela, Sofia likes the outdoors and enjoys to travel, cook, read and is always looking to try new things! She is concerned about global community uses of energy, and is passionate about preserving planet Earth for generations to come. She is currently gaining knowledge and experience in Sustainability to apply it in future endeavors.

Austin Thoren is a sophomore Peace and Conflict studies major. Austin is part of the UMass Lowell rowing team. He enjoys biking, hiking, surfing and pretty much anything outdoors. Austin hopes to make a difference in the UMass Lowell community and around the city so that he can learn skills to make a difference globally after graduating.

Lilly Connolly is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering major here at UMass Lowell. She loves hiking, biking, paddle boarding. Outside of school and work, she locks for the women’s rugby team! During the summer, Lilly works as an EMT/medic at an outdoor education facility that she attended as a kid, which sparked her interest in sustainability.
