WWW Homepage Access Counter

WWW Homepage Access Counter is a graphical CGI page counter which does not require server-side includes. This counter is ONLY available on www.uml.edu for use on pages located on www.uml.edu.

To use it, first you need to contact the Web Office to have a datafile set up for your page. Send the URL of the page you wish to set up the counter for. Since each page requires a datafile, please do not request datafiles for every page - only use it for important pages.

Once you are given a datafile name, you can add the following IMG tag to your document:

<IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=datafile" align=absmiddle>

This will show the default graphical counter. Other digit types and colors are available by using various options.

Below is the types of digits available.

< P>To use one of these styles, add "&dd=X" to the end of the SRC value, where X is the Style designation.
