Paul Song received his Ph.D. in Geophysics and Space Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1991. He was Scientist at High Altitude Observatory, National Center for Atmospheric Research, for five years and joined the Space Physics Research Laboratory of the University of Michigan from 1996 to 2000 as Associate Research Scientist. From 1990 to 1992, he was a Scientific Consultant at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is presently Professor in Department of Physics, Director of Space Science Laboratory, University of Massachusetts Lowell.
