  • Michael Doane

    Chemical Engineering, Biology

    Honors student Michael Doane won a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship for his cancer-related research in labs at UMass Lowell and during a summer National Science Foundation program. He says UMass Lowell does a great job of structuring both classes and learning experiences that build on one another.

  • Susan Braunhut

    Professor, Biological Sciences

    Susan Braunhut has researched limb regeneration and developed the smart bandage, among other medical devices.

  • Brittany Forslind

    Biology/Ecology

    After spending her freshman year at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Forslind transferred to UMass Lowell, where the biology program was a better fit for her.

    Biological Sciences

    Kreg Kaminski's experience at UMass Lowell in the Biology department and UTeach Program is being put to good use at Lowell High School.
