Louise is currently working on a project exploring the experiences of young adult carers/caregivers in higher education. She publishes on women’s informal/unpaid caregiving of adults, conceptualising care as informal work and supporting carers in employment. Louise has worked with policy makers in the public sector, collaborating with local authority on carer strategy. She has been involved in the Carework Network since 2017.
