Biosketch

Janette Dill is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on the organization of work, particularly in the health care sector, and the intersection of gender and carework. Her current research examines job quality in the health care sector for adults without a college degree and the challenges of reorganizing work in primary health care clinics. She has published in many public health and sociology journals including Gender & Society, Social Science and Medicine, and Work, Employment & Society, and her research has been featured in the New York Times, The Atlantic, the Harvard Business Review, and other press outlets.
