Co-Principal Investigator, Healthy and Safe@Work Project
Suzanne Nobrega, MS, is a Project Director at the Center for the Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace (CPH-NEW) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In her role as Co-Principal Investigator of the Healthy and Safe@Work Project, she directs a translational research effort aimed at promoting the use of participatory methods for designing integrated workplace safety and health promotion interventions. She has direct experience as a site facilitator in field tests of the CPH-NEW Healthy Worksite Toolkit, assisting employer organizations with participatory design of integrated, “systems” level workplace health and safety interventions. From 2007 to 2011 she was the Co-Principal Investigator of the CPH-NEW Stress@Work outreach and dissemination project, providing training and written communications for health professionals on job stress interventions for cardiovascular disease prevention.
