Engaging Southeast Asian Families and Community in your Classroom

$100 stipend for participation and 10 PDPs available for developing lesson plans (additional PDPs available for implementation)

This workshop will focus on ways to increase engagement with Southeast Asian families and communities. This workshop will provide educators with greater understanding of the diverse histories and cultures of Southeast Asia, increased knowledge of best practices in using multicultural texts and culturally relevant instruction, and awareness of how to engage Southeast Asian American families and comm unities using culturally appropriate pedagogy.
