Educational Background

Erin got her undergraduate degree at Elmira College and Master's Degree at SUNY Potsdam.

2012 will be Erin's sixth summer as the Director of Orientation. Before working with Orientation, Erin worked in Residence Life at UMass Lowell for two years.

A few words from Erin:

Working at UMass Lowell has been a great experience. The students here are great, hard working, and know how to enjoy the college experience.

During Orientation, I am lucky to work with a staff of 35 Orientation Leaders and four student Leadership Team members. The Leadership Team began working on Orientation way back in February. They spent hours in the office on top of classes and other campus activities.

The Orientation Leaders go through a rigorous selection process during the first weekend in March.  They met again multiple times during the semester to prep for the summer.  During the last week of May and first week of June, they spend countless hours in training, learning all of the information necessary for students to have a successful transition to UMass Lowell!

My ideal Saturday:

My ideal Saturday would be going for a long run, hanging out at home with my family and dogs, and then heading to the beach with friends!
