Salameh Chairs Session, Delivers Papers at IASTED Conference

Prof. Ziyad Salameh of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department was an active participant in an international conference of the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED) held last month in Phuket, Thailand.

At the conference, on power and energy systems, Salameh chaired a session on Alternative Energy III. He also presented two papers, one on “Harmonics Generated by a Distributed Generation System Using Wind/Photovoltaic/Fuel Cell with Battery Storage” and the second on “Compatibility of Small-Scale Wind and Photovoltaic systems Used as Distributed Generation.”
