  • The role of the Electoral College;

Thanksgiving myths and realities: Abigail Chandler, early American history expert, who can separate the facts from the misconceptions about the Pilgrims and the country’s Colonial past. She can also talk about how the celebration of Thanksgiving helps define the American identity and the political factors in the 1800s that led to the establishment of the national holiday. Chandler is a UMass Lowell history professor.

High-school reunions: Doreen Arcus, family and relationships expert. November is a popular month for reunions, as people across the country return home to celebrate Thanksgiving.
