UML’s CITA Conference Highlights University-Community Links


Murray Moderates Panel of Higher Ed Presidents

WHEN: Thurs. and Fri., April 26 and 27, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WHAT:    UMass Lowell’s Committee on Industrial Theory and Assessment (CITA) will host experts on university-community partnerships from around the world at its upcoming annual conference on April 26 and 27.     
The conference has already attracted more than 200 practitioners, including some from as far away as South Africa, India and Mexico.
Among the many presentations include a panel discussion of the presidents of public higher education institutions in Northeastern Massachusetts who will share their visions for economic development and how universities can make a difference.  This panel will be led by Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Tim Murray and will take place on Friday, April 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
