Marty Meehan Meets with UMass Lowell Community


Attends nanotechnology summit while on campus

WHEN: Thursday, April 12, 2007
       2  to 3:30 p.m. -- Open meeting
       4  to 5 p.m. -- Nanotechnology summit

WHAT:  U.S. Rep. and incoming UMass Lowell Chancellor Marty Meehan will conduct an open meeting on campus for the entire University community.  During this open forum, students, faculty and staff will have an opportunity to share their thoughts on issues facing the new administration. 

Immediately following the meeting, Meehan will attend the UML nanotechnology summit where more than 100 business people, alumni and community members will hear from 30 faculty members who will discuss the advances in nanotechnology research taking place on campus.
