WHAT: More than a dozen
Brooks Automation, Inc. software engineers will "graduate" from a C++ training program provided by UMass Lowell.
WHERE: Brooks Automation
15 Elizabeth Drive, Chelmsford
WHY: Brooks Automation, which delivers manufacturing automation solutions for semiconductor, precision electronics and other industries, currently uses C programming in developing their embedded software. To help make the shift to C++ programming, an object-oriented language, Brooks called on UMass Lowell's Division of Continuing Studies, Corporate and Distance Education (CSCDE) to design a customized training program offered on-site with student services. The students will be celebrating the completion of the program.
